Main characters often have traits (or flaws) that make them similar to characters in other books. Compare the main character(s) of your book to the character(s) of another book you have read, or of a story we have read in class. In what ways are the characters similar to each other, and in what ways are they different? If these characters were to meet, what could they learn from each other?

What plot events have come as a surprise to you? What part of the plot are you in (exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution)? What is your opinion on the development of any of the elements of plot? (Are the plot events believable? Which ones? How so? If they are not believable, why aren't they, and what would you do to change them?)

Quarter 3 Question 1 Due 1/25!!

First of all, what book are you reading? Then, tell me about the main character(s) of your books--their names, personality traits, motivations, inner qualities. Why do they do what they do? What is the conflict they encounter along the way? How do they react to this conflict? Are their actions justified? Do you admire or disapprove of them? Are they realistic; do they remind you of people you know?
